Online meeting within the framework of the implementation of the ideology of "Law and Order"

As part of the implementation of the "Zan men tartip" ("Law and Order") ideology, as well as the Roadmap signed between the Agency for Civil Service Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education and the League of Academic Integrity, an online meeting with vice-rectors and compliance officers of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held on February 3, 2026.

The meeting was chaired by Akerke Abylaikhan, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and was devoted to the implementation of the "Zan men Tartip" ideology and the possibilities for universities to join the League of Academic Integrity.

During the meeting, the head of the League's Project Office, Nurgul Nurlan, noted that joining the League of Academic Integrity opens up access for universities to a unified institutional standard of academic integrity based on international principles, as well as to expert support, monitoring and practice-oriented tools for the development of the academic integrity system. Participation in the League allows universities to build a sustainable model for preventing academic dishonesty, strengthen management processes, increase transparency, and foster a culture of integrity among students, faculty, and staff.

A special emphasis was placed on the fact that the League of Academic Integrity acts not only as a platform for assessing compliance with standards, but also as a professional community providing the exchange of best practices, staff training and university support on the path of institutional change.

The meeting was an important step in consolidating the efforts of government agencies and the academic community to develop a culture of legality, responsibility and academic integrity in the higher education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
