The League of Academic Integrity is expanding its influence on secondary education in Kazakhstan.

Nurgul Mahanbayeva, Head of the Project Office at the League of Academic Integrity, delivered a keynote speech at the off-site August Conference of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools in Aktau city. Her presentation focused on the role of AIRS 2.0 standards and the League's projects in promoting Academic integrity in higher education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Conference, which brought together over 3,500 teachers, staff, and school administrators, served as an important platform for discussing current educational issues, including Academic integrity. Nurgul Mahanbaeva emphasized the importance of integrating Academic integrity principles into the curriculum at the secondary education level, especially in the context of rapidly developing technologies.

- Establishing a Consortium: The League of Academic Integrity announced the creation of a Consortium to promote Academic integrity in secondary education. The Consortium aims to improve the quality of secondary education through the implementation of Academic integrity principles.
- Standards and Code of Honor: The Consortium will develop a unified standard of Academic integrity for schools and introduce a Policy and Code of Honor.
- Participant Commitments: Schools joining the Consortium must establish academic integrity committees, develop strategic plans, and require students to take an Oath of Honor.
Mrs. Mahanbayeva noted, "The Conference theme, 'Academic Integrity in the Age of New Technologies,' is more relevant than ever. I am confident that through our joint efforts, we can build a culture of academic integrity at all levels of education in Kazakhstan."
The League of Academic Integrity invites schools to join the Consortium to work together to create a fair and transparent educational environment.
