Anniversary Forum of the Academic Integrity League

On April 19, 2024, the Anniversary Forum of the Academic Integrity League took place in Almaty city. The Forum was attended by representatives from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, and the Philippines, encompassing 26 universities and organizations, with over 200 participants (125 offline, more than 80 online). The Forum provided a strong impetus for the dissemination of the culture of academic integrity in the Kazakhstani higher education system. Experts and leaders who made significant contributions to the development of Academic Integrity were recognized and awarded at the Forum.

On the same day, the regular General Assembly of the League's members was held and made important decisions as follows:

1. To establish a working group for the development of new standards for the Academic Integrity League.
2. To initiate the process of preparing a unified digital platform to optimize the monitoring process and implement online monitoring tools.
3. By decision of the General Assembly, the Chairmanship of the General Assembly of the Academic Integrity League was transferred to NJSC "Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov".
