The implementation of academic integrity standards was discussed at the site of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs

On January 23 of this year, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs held a working meeting to discuss the implementation of the Roadmap of the Memorandum for 2026-2027 on ensuring academic integrity in the field of education.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Education, the League of Academic Integrity, deputy akims of regions in charge of education, as well as the first heads of higher education institutions and colleges.

During the meeting, issues of practical implementation of the provisions of the Memorandum were considered, including measures to prevent corruption in the educational environment, the formation of an anti-corruption culture among students and teaching staff, as well as the development of mechanisms for academic integrity at all levels of the education system.

It should be noted that the Memorandum was signed on December 9, 2025 between the Agency for Civil Service Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education and the League of Academic Integrity at the Republican Forum on Ensuring Academic Integrity in Education "Adal bilim - adal urpaq".

The implementation of this Memorandum is aimed at shaping the values of honesty and integrity, increasing the responsibility of participants in the educational process, as well as reducing corruption risks in the field of education.
