M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University AKA Aueziv University was the first to host the Monitoring Commission.
The Academic Integrity League is an association of higher and postgraduate educational institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan, established in 2018.
The League's mission is to improve and enhance the quality of education in the country by promoting and implementing ten fundamental principles of Academic Integrity. Currently, the League comprises 18 universities, with some holding applicant status and others being full members.
The Monitoring Commission, consisting of representatives from the League's member universities and led by Nurghul Nurlanovna Makhanbayeva, Head of the League's Project Office, plans to complete the monitoring process in all 18 member universities by the end of 2024, in accordance with the approved schedule.
Following the monitoring, a detailed report based on 105 criteria for each block will be presented to the university administration. These recommendations will be developed with the aim of improving the educational process and submitted for consideration and implementation by the administration and faculties of the monitored universities.
The League is committed to promoting Academic Integrity in universities and enhancing the quality of the higher education system in Kazakhstan.
