The Academic Integrity League conducted a monitoring visit to Atyrau University named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov as part of the implementation of the League’s 2025 Academic Integrity Standard, developed in line with the international principles of ICAI.

During the visit, the following key aspects of the university’s academic culture were assessed:
- transparency of administrative governance and processes
- engagement of faculty and staff
- student support system
- policies and procedures
- digitalization, artificial intelligence, and management of academic risks
- training, communications, and internal monitoring

The League’s monitoring team expresses its gratitude to the leadership of Atyrau University, represented by Salamat Idrisov, and to the university staff for their openness, constructive dialogue, and willingness to collaborate in strengthening the culture of academic integrity.

Preliminary recommendations have been sent to the university, and the full report will be submitted within the established timeframe.

Continuing its mission, the League will further support universities across Kazakhstan in building honest, transparent, and sustainable academic ecosystems.
